Identify vulnerable road users, high risk, changes in attitude required Explain Operator licensing, Vehicle checks, vehicle loads Understand fuel consumption, recognise developing hazards, managing space, Highway Code Explain the basic principles of H&S in transport, safe loading, manual handling and fires in vehicles Understand what vehicles they can/cannot drive, basic driving test procedure, safe breakdown procedures Explain the benefit of adaptive cruise control, eco roll etc, basics of Euro six engines and AdBlue, basic braking systems Fitness to drive, signs of fatigue, stress and being in control Internal and external customer expectations, methods of communication, equality and diversity
