Description
By the end of the training, the driver will be able to:
1. Describe and explain the principles and techniques of life saving first aid.
2. Describe and explain the dangers of fire when carrying dangerous goods and their responsibilities and duties should they come across fire as part of their driving role.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the role and function of packaging in containing and protecting dangerous goods and the drivers responsibilities in recognising and demonstrating correct use of packaging during the transport operation.
4. Describe and explain the main hazards associated with Class 2 substances and the particular aspects a driver must be aware of to ensure safe transport of this class.
