Candidates will demonstrate throughout the course their knowledge and understanding. they will learn the importance of driving vehicle with modern techniques instead of old taught techniques, how the MPG will improve and the importance of improving the bottom line of profit for companies. understanding the importance of fuel and how other actions can improve fuel economy such as not allow engines to idle, control of speed, cruise control.
Candidates will take part in interactive discussions throughout the course and will be asked open and closed question. their knowledge will be checked on road signs and they should have a full understanding of road markings and speed limits.
candidates will also gain knowledge of different vehicle markings, so they can gain an understanding of their size, weights, loads they carry and any special movement orders.
Candidates will learn new techniques to drive in bad weather, what to look out for and procedures to follow if their vehicles become stuck. they will have a good understanding of how quick the weather can change and how seriously it can affect an LGV PCV vehicle.
Candidates will learn the importance of a company image and how they can affect the brand, negative and positive. how they are an ambassador for a company and learn the skills to interact with customers. Good communication skills and conflict management.
Candidates will learn the importance of vehicle defect checks. what they should be checking and the importance of these checks, LGV and PCV vehicles. the time they should be taking and the tacho mode for this time. they will be educated of the importance of vehicle checks and how it affects the Operators licence.
all candidates will learn valuable information from this course which will be essential for modern driving
