Description

By the end if this course Drivers will be able to:
·       Recognise the meaning of compliance and identify the obligations and responsibilities of operators, engineers, and drivers
·       Describe the role of the CPC scheme in maintaining compliance.
·       Explain how the Operator Compliance Risk Score and the Earned Recognition Schemes work
·       Describe the audit process and be more aware of other schemes such as FORS
·       Explain driver hours rules and tachograph usage.
·       Demonstrate knowledge of defect checking and reporting.
·       Explain the Fixed Penalty Scheme.
·       Recognise the importance of the driver in an operation.
·       Explain how telematic systems work and their benefits.
·       Identify the role the driver plays in reducing emissions and decide how to apply more fuel-efficient driving behaviours.
