Delegates will be able to explain what vehicles they can or can not drive.
Delegates will be able to explain the basic driving test procedure.
Delegates will be able to give examples of when they need to notify DVLA / DVA of changes to their circumstances.
Delegates will be able to explain the basic, safe breakdown procedures.
Delegates will be able to describe what action they would take at the scene of an accident.
Delegates will be able to explain the basic principles of H & S in the transport industry.
Delegates will be able to explain the safe loading principles of their particular part of the transport industry.
Delegates will be able to describe the basic safe manual handling principles.
Delegates will be able to describe what action to take if fire breaks out on their vehicle.
End of the training candidates will be aware of how to respond to a casualty who is injured at work or suffers from a serious illness, until the emergency service
s arrive
End of the training candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the operators licence, driver hours & working time regulations, understand &
comply with recording requirements of tachograph regulations including use of analogue & digital tachograph.
