To know and understand the Construction & Use Regulations 1996 (as amended) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 because they govern what we do and how we do it when Self-Escorting Abnormal loads and or Abnormal Vehicles. By definition, if we fail to adhere to the Code of Practice, we are at risk of prosecution by the authorities for blatant disregard of the Road Vehicles Construction & Use Regulations as laid down by the Road Traffic Act 1988.
