Description
By the end of the course, candidates will have a better understanding of:
- causes of fire
- ways to prevent fires
- the dangers of fire i.e. smoke inhalation, decreased visibility etc
- actions to take in the event of a fire
- the different types of fire extinguishers
- how and when to use fire extinguishers
- causes of conflicts
-ways to prevent conflict
-actions to take in the event of finding themselves in a conflicting situation
-the differing techniques and skills to be used to diffuse these situations
-the triggers that can change situations so as to manage conflict either involving themselves, or others.
