Description
The objective of this course is to give delegates the knowledge and skills to carry out appropriate first aid until professional help arrives.
For learners to have knowledge and understanding of a selection of different emergencies
For the learner to be able to assist with emergencies that they may come across in the workplace Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
Be able to assess an incident
Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally
Be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally
Be able to recognise and assist a casualty who is choking
Be able to manage a casualty who is wounded and bleeding
Understand how to manage a casualty with a minor injury
Understand how to manage a variety of conditions
