• Understand the role of a first aider
• Manage first aid incidents until professional help arrives
• Deal with unconscious casualties
• Perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
• Deal with a casualty who is choking
• Deal with a casualty who is bleeding
• Deal with a casualty who is suffering from shock
• Manage casualties with minor injuries
