By the end of the session drivers should be able to:

Know the implications for failing to secure loads correctly, recognise and select correct restraint systems, calculate the effects of payloads on axle weights, identify which checks should be made to vehicles and when they should be carried out, know what documents should be carried on the vehicle to ensure compliance, state maximum driving/working time, rest and breaks for each period, each day, each week, the rolling fortnight, know the correct use of driver tachograph cards to conform to regulations
