Description
By the end of the session learners should be able to:
Understand the need to comply with operator licencing requirements as directed by their employer
Recognise the importance of following company maintenance procedures
Know how drivers hours are managed by their employer
Keep a check on their own driving licence and how to renew/inform DVLA if any changes occur which could affect driving
Understand what DVSA will be checking on the vehicle and how they do it at roadside inspections
Review their own health & safety arrangements at their depot and adhere to company policies in relation to working with LGVs both on and off site
