To inform Drivers on new and pending legislation and how this will affect drivers in their role.
To refresh Drivers understanding of the aspects of safe loading using safe working practices.
To raise awareness of drivers' responsibilities to ensure vehicles are left in safe and secure state to stop vehicle roll aways.
To remind and ensure Drivers are aware of their professional responsibilities in completing first use inspections.
To instil greater understanding of the process and safety requirements to be implemented when drivers suffer breakdowns and roadside incidents.
To ensure an understanding of the steps to be followed in the event of a bridge strike, their legal responsibility, and the consequences of bridge strikes.
To refresh and inform the legal requirements required of drivers to ensure the working day/week is recorded arcuately via manual entries to the driver's card and make them aware of work carried out away from the vehicle where card is not inserted, and records are completed and carried by driver.
