Description

1) Drivers will be able to explain their daily responsibilities for keeping the vehicle and equipment in good working order, ensuring their own safety and the safety of others.
2) Drivers will be able to describe how different types of loads require different securing equipment and to ensure they are properly trained before taking a load on to the roads.
3) Drivers will be able to describe how gross weight, axle weights and load distribution impacts on vehicle stability.
4) Drivers will recognise the need for route planning to avoid situations that can result in incidents or accidents that are a danger to themselves and others.
