Description
• Participants will learn to identify and comprehend common mental health disorders and their impact on individuals and society.
• Participants will gain the ability to recognize signs of mental health problems in themselves and others and provide appropriate support and assistance.
• Participants will develop a deeper understanding of social norms surrounding mental health in men and women, including the influence of gender roles and societal expectations.
• Address problems with drugs, alcohol, and driving: Participants will learn about the risks and consequences associated with substance abuse and driving under the influence and acquire strategies to mitigate these problems.
• Participants will be equipped to create a culture of empathy, understanding, and non-judgment towards individuals with mental health issues. They will also learn to promote mental health awareness, reduce stigma, and provide access to appropriate support services.
