By the end of this module, drivers will have a full understanding of:
Medical Requirements for HGV & PCV Drivers: Understanding the medical standards and requirements, including the importance of reporting any medical conditions that may pose risks to personal and public safety.
Basic Emergency First Aid Awareness: Gaining foundational knowledge of emergency first aid practices, enabling drivers to assist in emergencies until further help arrives. (Please note: this does not equate to full EFAW certification).
Fire Safety and Procedures: Recognizing how to handle fire-related incidents in the workplace and vehicles, including fire procedures and the correct usage of fire extinguishers.
Health & Safety Responsibilities: Understanding key health and safety obligations for professional drivers, both within the workplace and while on the road. sector.
