By the end of the course attendees shall be able to
Outline drivers/Transport Managers responsibilities with regard to vocational driver conduct.
Give examples of the checks to be carried out on the vehicle before and after use.
Describe the legal requirements for defect reporting and managing maintenance records.
Understand drivers' hours and working time rules and understand the correct record keeping procedures.
Recognise the need to ensure that loads are secured correctly.
Explain the checks to be carried out on a driver licence.
