Description
By the end of the session, delegates will have a better understanding of Drivers Hours requirements and legislation which will help them to remain safe and on the right side of the law.
The course includes:
Introduction to Drivers’ Hours, UK Domestic Rules 1968 & EC Regulation 561/2006 (EU Drivers’ Hours) and review the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005.
Understanding how a Digital Tachograph works and its correct use and manual entries.
Identify the data display menu structure, special displays, pictograms and messages as well as printouts utilised by Digital Tachographs.
Identify enforcement powers and review the range of professional and legal standards expected and required from drivers by DVSA and the Traffic Commissioners Office
