Description
On completion of the course delegates will have been supported in gaining a full understanding and awareness of what drivers’ along with the companies’ responsibilities are when operating coaches on journeys into the EU.
Delegates will have been provided with a session looking at both the driver documentation required and the vehicle documentation along with the opportunity to explore the equipment required. Delegates will have been supported by the completion of a session looking at the requirements expected for the required Clandestine checks to be completed. Delegates will have been supported by means of a briefing session and completion of a practical session. This session will assist to have highlighted the requirements to have been undertaken prior to a making a border crossing upon the return to the UK, along with a supported session looking at the requirements for the check to be fully documented.
The session will also have provided delegates with support and briefings around understanding the additional rules and variations with regards Drivers Hours regulations when operating into the EU.
Delegates will also have explored the changes to the driving requirements whilst operating into Europe bring, with delegates also been briefed to the impact and requirements of winter driving, including providing delegates with a supportive practical session on when Snow Chains are used and been briefed on their fitment supported by a practical session.
Delegates will also have been supported with a briefing with regards safe driving practice.
