Description

The driver will be able to show how the correct use of vehicle controls, and consistency of walk round checks can aid fuel consumption reduction. The driver will be able to demonstrate how correct load distribution and load security can help reduce fuel consumption. The driver will be able to demonstrate how to correctly complete manual entries, and demonstrate how to correctly manage WTD regulation break and rest periods. The driver will be able to demonstrate the correct procedures in the event of an emergency whilst on the road. The driver will be able to demonstrate steps to be taken to prevent their vehicle being illegally accessed for the purposes of criminal behaviour, including use of the vehicle as a weapon. The driver will be able to demonstrate steps taken to prevent sites from unauthorised access for the purposes of criminality.
