Description
A modular course consisting of any two of the following 3.5-hour modules:
Module 1: To refresh and improve knowledge of ways to report, who to and what to do
Module 2: To ensure drivers are aware of their legal obligations regarding:
Mobile phone and use; Drivers health; stress; tiredness; back pain; healthy diet; alcohol and drugs.
Module 3: To refresh and improve knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations that apply to the professional driver and dangers of ignoring them
Module 4: What to do if involved in a RTA, the legal considerations and penalties, what we can do to prevent and every first aid anyone can utilise
Module 5: To refresh and improve knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations that apply to the professional driver to inform about new technology and fuels
Module 6: To refresh and improve knowledge of the relevant legislation and regulations that apply to the professional driver regarding loading and unloading a vehicle using risk assessments and appropriate manual handling
Module 7: The objective is for the student to improve or refresh (as applicable) their driving skills with practical experience, to apply theoretical knowledge appropriately and raise the awareness and importance of those skills to prevent accidents and protect other road users as well as themselves.
Module 8: Using realistic case studies / scenarios relating to PCV work situations to cover and address with various regulations and rules and make sure the candidates are aware and up to date with their knowledge using q& a and coaching methods.
Module 9: Using realistic case studies / scenarios relating to LGV work situations to cover and address with various regulations and rules and make sure the candidates are aware and up to date with their knowledge using q& a and coaching methods.
Module 10: To refresh and improve knowledge of ways to report, who to and what to do
Module 11: To refresh and improve knowledge of ways to report, who to and what to do if unresolved
Module 12: To refresh and improve knowledge of ways to report, who to and what to do
