Description

On completion of this training all trainees should be able to identify different types of attachment; understand how to use any attachment installed on the training vehicle; understand that further training is required for each attachment type; and understand safety and the legal importance of securing attachments correctly for travel.

Explain the purpose of various types of lifting attachment, with focus on those relevant to the training vehicle and load type(s) as used by the trainees.

Additional stresses caused by many attachments.
Explain that the correct loading procedure for the vehicle will be covered during the practical session relevant to the load type.
