Extend knowledge of legislation that exists, to provide safety controls on our busy roads
· Reflect on our behaviours and that of others, that compromise the safety of road users
· Justify need to plan and operate on clearly defined and understood routes, and what to do if a detour is unavoidable
· To understand the costs (financial and non-financial) and consequences of a collision with a bridge
· Be able to define what driver fatigue is
· Recognise the effects of fatigue
· Understand the actions you can take to counter fatigue
· Be able to communicate what you've learned about fatigue in your workplace
