To help drivers refresh and gain a better appreciation and understanding of the highway code and how it can affect our drivers and driving, by use of current highway code DVD tests.
Work as a team to tackle case studies relating to the transport industry, to give the experience of working within a team while understanding road traffic legislation.
Refresh regulations on driver’s hours and working time regulations insuring drivers understand how the two laws interact with each other. Including highlights on driver’s cards and new Gen 2 smart 2 Tacho.
To encourage and make drivers think about the complexity of planning daily work within legal and compliant framework by the use of a case study.
To encourage drivers to tackle daily road hazards by the use of hazard perception test. All completed in teams, showing the importance of working together.
