Description
The objectives of this course is to give the candidates a better understanding of the topics set. the importance of these sections and how it can affect the candidates individually, the company and also the general public.
Drivers will be able to identify different types of vehicles on their drivers licence, understanding section 12 codes. this gives the candidates a stronger position and reduces the chances of taking a vehicle out they are not qualified to take.
drivers will learn the importance of carrying out a daily defect check of the vehicle, preventing them from receiving a graduated fixed penalty. they will have more understanding strengthening their position as a professional driver.
Drivers will complete the course with more understanding of how the Highway code has been changed and how it affects drivers of larger vehicles on the road. they will be more aware and as a result should be able to perform their duties with safety.
Drivers will learn the importance of load security, and how they can achieve this from securing the load with the correct restraints. also where to position the load on the vehicle so that its not a danger to the public when breaking or cornering.
