- Recognise site hazards, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions
- Understand PPE importance and fit-for-work expectations
- Carry out LGV and mixer-specific vehicle checks
- Operate mixer drums safely including speeds, controls and washout
- Understand causes and prevention of vehicle rollovers, bridge strikes and obstructions
