• Maintain safe stopping distances appropriate for HGVs in varying road, traffic, and weather conditions.
• Recognise high-risk driving times and the effects of monotony on alertness.
• Explain how ADAS supports safe driving and understand its limitations.
• Interpret road signs, signals and speed limits accurately
• Respond safely to breakdowns, slow moving and stationary traffic, and incidents
