Description

e course is for candidates to achieve the required skillset and be able to preserve life, prevent worsening and promote the recovery of casualties they may encounter during their everyday working, and private life.

Each module within this course includes learning outcome which are relevant to first aid at work regulations 1981, appendix 5 and 6.

The specific object of this module is for candidates to be able to:

Know how to correctly administer first aid to a casualty who has fractured ribs.
Know how to recognise the severity of burns and scalds.
Be able to administer first aid to a casualty suffering from burns.
Be able to administer first aid to a casualty suffering from an eye injury.
