Understand the EU / Domestic Tachograph Rules and Regulations to include driver hours legislation, WTD / RTD.
Understand vehicle unit downloads printouts and pictograms; National derogations, exemptions and manual entries.
Recognise the differences between Digital tachographs and Analogue Tachograph units, chart use, retention and production of records, including analysis and distance trace exercises.
Identify Enforcement agencies protocol and procedures including driver responsibilities, fines and sanctions for breach of regulations.
Comply with The Working time directive and understand adequate rest.
