Description

A) To improve drivers’ understanding of drivers’ working hours, regulations, use of tachographs and to minimise errors in compliance.
B) To prompt professionalism in the way drivers deal with vulnerable road users.
C) To ensure drivers understand the need for efficient daily vehicle checks and fully appreciate their responsibilities.
D) To understand the basic principles of safe and fuel efficient driving and to establish best professional driving practice.
E) To ensure drivers can load their vehicle safely.
F) To ensure drivers have a thorough understanding of the Highway Code.
G) To improve drivers’ awareness of mental health and ability.
H) To understand the basic principles of Driver Wellbeing.
I) To understand the importance of being able to work with others.
J) To ensure drivers understand their professional role if first at a the scene of an accident.
K & L To ensure drivers have an appropriate awareness of First Aid
M) To improve drivers’ understanding of their legal requirements and to make drivers aware of the recent changes.
N) To improve drivers’ understanding of tachographs.
O) To ensure drivers have an appropriate awareness of First Aid.
P) To develop drivers’ understanding of safeguarding and their responsibility in identifying, responding to, and reporting concerns within a transport environment.
